In what cases is it possible to return or exchange food products?
According to paragraphs 1-1 and 2 of Article 30 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Protection of Consumer Rights" , food products are subject to return or exchange in the event of the sale of goods with an expired shelf life or the discovery of defects by the consumer, namely:
- inedible goods;
- manufacturing defect;
- goods that do not match the name and description;
- expired goods;
- goods delivered with damaged or broken packaging.
If everything is in order with the packaging, expiration date and presentation, then a food product of proper quality cannot be returned or exchanged.
In what cases can I return or exchange a non-food product if the product is of good quality?
You can return goods that are legally subject to return with a 100% guarantee, if it has not been used, its presentation, consumer properties, seals, labels, as well as a document confirming the fact of purchase of the goods, are preserved, within fourteen calendar days, with the exception of the list of non-food products that are not subject to exchange and return in accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 30 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 4, 2010 No. 274-IV "On Protection of Consumer Rights",) .
